In this tutorial, we will guide you through the process of completely wiping your Android phone, ensuring that all personal information and settings are permanently erased.

Backup Your Data

Before you begin the wiping process, it is crucial to back up any important data on your Android phone. This includes contacts, photos, videos, documents, and any other files you want to keep. You can use various methods like syncing with Google Drive or using a third-party backup tool.

Step 2: Scroll down and tap on Accounts.

Step 3: Select your Google Account.

Step 4: Tap on the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner.

Step 5: Choose Remove Account.

Note: Removing your Google Account will also remove all associated data such as contacts, calendars, and emails from your device. Make sure you have backed up this information before proceeding.

If you want to take an extra step to ensure that your data cannot be recovered even by advanced methods, you can encrypt your Android phone before performing a factory reset. Here’s how:

Note: The encryption process may take some time and requires your device to be charged and connected to a power source.

  • Scroll down and tap on Security.
  • Select either Fingerprint & Security, Fingerprints & Security, or a similar option based on your device.
  • Note:The security settings may vary depending on the make and model of your Android phone.

    Step 2:

    • Tap on Encrypt phone.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to encrypt your device.

Note: Once the encryption process is complete, perform the factory reset as mentioned earlier to ensure all data is securely wiped from your Android phone.
