How to Unblock Phone Number on iPhone

In this tutorial, we will guide you on how to unblock a phone number on your iPhone. If you have mistakenly blocked a contact or want to undo a previous block, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Open Settings

To begin, unlock your iPhone and locate the Settings app on your home screen. It is represented by a grey gear icon. Tap on it to open.

Step 2: Scroll down and tap on Phone

Once you are in the Settings menu, scroll down until you find the Phone option. It should be located between the Messages and FaceTime options. Tap on it to proceed.

Step 3: Tap on Blocked Contacts

In the Phone settings menu, you will find an option called Blocked Contacts. This is where all the contacts that you have blocked are listed. Tap on it to view the list.

Step 4: Unblock the desired contact

In this section, you will see a list of all contacts that you have blocked previously. Locate the contact that you want to unblock and tap on their name.

Note: You can use the search bar at the top of the screen to quickly find a specific contact if your list is long.

Step 5: Tap Unblock this Caller

After tapping on the desired contact, you will see a screen with their details and an option that says “Unblock this Caller”. Tap on it to remove the block from their number.

Note: Once unblocked, they will be able to call, message, and FaceTime you again.

Step 6: Confirm the unblock

A confirmation pop-up will appear asking if you want to unblock the contact. Verify that it is indeed the correct contact and tap on Unblock Contact to proceed.

Step 7: Contact unblocked successfully

Congratulations! You have successfully unblocked the contact on your iPhone. They can now reach out to you without any restrictions.
