Voicemail allows callers to leave you voice messages when you are unable to pick up the phone. In this tutorial, we will guide you through the process of turning on voicemail on your iPhone.

Step 1: Accessing the Phone Settings

The first step is to access the settings related to your phone. To do this, locate and tap on the “Settings” icon on your home screen.

Step 2: Finding the Phone Settings

In the settings menu, scroll down until you find the “Phone” option. Tap on it to access additional phone settings.

Step 3: Setting up Voicemail

Within the phone settings, locate and tap on the “Voicemail” option. This will take you to the voicemail settings page.

Step 3.1: Enabling Voicemail

To turn on voicemail, toggle the switch next to “Voicemail” so that it turns green. This indicates that voicemail is now enabled on your iPhone.2: Customizing Voicemail Greeting (Optional)

If you want to personalize your voicemail greeting, tap on “Greeting.” You will be presented with different options for recording or selecting a custom greeting.

  • Tape a Custom Greeting: If you prefer a personal touch, tap on “Custom” and follow the prompts to record a custom greeting using your own voice.
  • Use Default Greeting: Alternatively, if you wish to use the default greeting, tap on “Default” to select it.

Once you have chosen your preferred greeting option, tap on “Save” to confirm your choice.

Step 4: Accessing Voicemail

Now that voicemail is enabled and customized (if desired), you can access your voicemail messages directly from the Phone app. On the bottom menu of the Phone app, locate and tap on “Voicemail.”

Step 4.1: Listening to Voicemail Messages

To listen to a voicemail message, tap on a message from the list. The message will begin playing automatically.

Step 4.2: Managing Voicemail Messages

If you want to manage your voicemails, swipe left on a message in the list to reveal options such as delete or call back. You can also tap on “Edit” at the top right corner of the voicemail list to select multiple messages for bulk operations.
