Welcome to this tutorial on how to turn off vibrate on your iPhone. If you find the constant vibrating notifications annoying, or simply prefer a silent mode, this guide will show you how to disable the vibrate feature on your device.

Step 1: Access the Settings

To begin, locate and tap on the Settings app on your iPhone’s home screen. The Settings app is represented by a gray icon with gears.

Step 2: Find the Sounds & Haptics Option

In the Settings menu, scroll down until you find the Sounds & Haptics option and tap on it. This will take you to a new screen where you can customize your sound and vibration settings.

Step 3: Disable Vibrate for Calls

In the Sounds & Haptics menu, locate the Ringer and Alerts section. Within this section, you will find an option called Vibrate on Ring.

By default, this option is enabled. Tap on it to disable the vibrate feature for incoming calls.

Step 4: Disable Vibrate for Silent Mode

Beneath the Vibrate on Ring option, there is another option called Vibrate on Silent. This controls whether your iPhone vibrates when it’s in silent mode. Tap on it to toggle off the vibrate feature when your device is set to silent mode.

Step 5: Adjust Other Vibration Settings (Optional)

If you want more control over specific vibration settings, scroll down further in the Sounds & Haptics menu. Here, you can customize vibrations for various system functions like Ringtone, New Mail, Calendar Alerts, and more. Tap on any of these options to choose a different vibration pattern or disable it entirely.

Step 6: Save your Settings

Once you have made the desired changes to your vibration settings, simply press the back button in the top-left corner of the screen or swipe from left to right to return to the main Settings menu. Your new preferences will be saved automatically.

Congratulations! You have successfully turned off vibrate on your iPhone. You can now enjoy a silent mode without any intrusive vibrations.

If you ever wish to re-enable vibrate, simply follow the same steps outlined above and toggle the appropriate settings back on.

Note:

Keep in mind that while disabling vibrate for calls and silent mode will prevent your iPhone from vibrating, it will still produce sound notifications if enabled. If you want complete silence, make sure to adjust your sound settings accordingly.

I hope this tutorial has been helpful in guiding you through the process of turning off vibrate on your iPhone. Enjoy a peaceful and vibration-free experience!
