Step 3: Disable iMessage

Step 4: Sign Out of iCloud

If you want to go a step further and turn off all messaging services on your Mac, including SMS texts and notifications from messaging apps like WhatsApp or Telegram, follow these additional steps:

  1. Open System Preferences:

    • Click on the Apple logo in the top-left corner of your screen.

    • Select “System Preferences” from the drop-down menu.

  2. Access Apple ID:

    • Once in System Preferences, click on “Apple ID. “

  3. Sign Out:

    • In the Apple ID window, you will see your iCloud account details.

      Click on the “Overview” tab.

    • Scroll down and locate the “Sign Out” button. Click on it to sign out of iCloud.

Note: Signing out of iCloud will disable all messaging services associated with your Apple ID on your Mac.

Step 5: Restart Your Mac

To ensure that the changes take effect, restart your Mac after completing the above steps. Once your Mac restarts, you should no longer receive any messages or notifications on your device.
