iPhone, Tutorials

Are you tired of having your iPhone restrict your data usage with Low Data Mode? If so, you’ve come to the right place.

In this tutorial, we will guide you step-by-step on how to turn off Low Data Mode on your iPhone. So let’s get started!

Step 1: Accessing the Settings

To begin with, open the Settings app on your iPhone. You can find the Settings app on your home screen. It is represented by a gear icon.

Step 2: Navigating to Cellular Settings

In the Settings menu, scroll down and tap on Cellular. This will take you to the cellular settings of your iPhone.

Step 3: Disabling Low Data Mode

In the Cellular settings, locate and tap on Cellular Data Options. This will open a new screen with additional options related to your cellular data.

Note: If your iPhone is running on iOS 12 or earlier, you will find Low Data Mode directly under Cellular.

In this new screen, you’ll see an option called Low Data Mode. By default, it is enabled.

To turn it off, simply tap on the toggle switch next to it. Once turned off, the switch will no longer be green.

Troubleshooting Tips:

  • If you are unable to see the Low Data Mode option in your Cellular settings, make sure that you are running iOS 13 or later. Earlier versions do not have this feature.
  • If the toggle switch for Low Data Mode is grayed out and you can’t turn it off, check if you are connected to a Wi-Fi network. Low Data Mode is automatically disabled when connected to Wi-Fi.
  • If you have enabled Low Data Mode for specific Wi-Fi networks, make sure to disable it individually by tapping on the Wi-Fi Networks option under Low Data Mode.

Congratulations! You have successfully turned off Low Data Mode on your iPhone. You can now enjoy your cellular data without any restrictions.
