How to Trim Video on iPhone

Do you want to learn how to trim videos on your iPhone? Well, you’ve come to the right place! In this tutorial, we will guide you through the process step by step.

Step 1: Open the Photos App

To begin, locate and open the Photos app on your iPhone. This app is represented by a colorful flower icon.

Step 2: Find the Video

Next, navigate to the “Albums” tab at the bottom of the screen and select “Videos”. Here, you’ll find all of the videos stored on your device.

Step 3: Select the Video

Browse through your video library and tap on the video you want to trim. This will open it in full-screen mode.

Step 4: Tap Edit

Once your video is open, look for the “Edit” button located in the top-right corner of the screen. It’s represented by three horizontal lines inside a circle.

Step 5: Adjust Start and End Points

After tapping “Edit”, you’ll see a timeline at the bottom of the screen. Drag either end of this timeline to adjust where you want your trimmed video to start and end.

Tips:

  • Bold Text: To make precise adjustments, use two fingers to pinch-zoom into specific areas of the timeline.
  • Bold Text: You can also drag both ends of the timeline simultaneously to maintain a specific duration while adjusting both start and end points.

Step 6: Preview Your Trimmed Video

Once you’re satisfied with the start and end points, tap the play button located in the center of the screen to preview your trimmed video.

Step 7: Save Your Trimmed Video

If you’re happy with the result, tap the “Done” button in the bottom-right corner of the screen. You’ll then be prompted to either “Save as New Clip” or “Trim Original”.

Choose your preferred option, and voila! Your trimmed video is saved.
