Are you tired of running out of storage space on your iPhone because of all the amazing photos you take? Don’t worry, we have a solution for you! In this tutorial, we will show you how to transfer photos from your iPhone to a USB stick without the need for a computer.

What You’ll Need:

  • An iPhone with a Lightning port
  • A USB stick with a Lightning connector

Step 1: Connect Your USB Stick to Your iPhone

First, locate the Lightning connector on your USB stick and gently insert it into the Lightning port on your iPhone. Make sure it fits securely.

Step 2: Allow Access to Your Photos

Next, you may see a prompt on your iPhone asking for permission to access your photos. Tap “Allow” to grant access. This is necessary for the transfer process.

Step 3: Open the Files App

Now, unlock your iPhone and find the Files app on your home screen. It has an icon that looks like a blue folder. Tap on it to open.

Step 4: Navigate to Photos

In the Files app, tap on “Browse” at the bottom right corner of the screen. Then, locate and tap on “On My iPhone” under Locations.

Note:

If you have organized your photos into albums, you can navigate through them by tapping on “Photos” instead, and then selecting the desired album.

Step 5: Select Photos

In the Photos folder, you will see all the pictures stored on your iPhone. Tap on “Select” at the top right corner of the screen.

To select multiple photos, simply tap on each photo you want to transfer. Each selected photo will have a blue checkmark icon on it.

Step 6: Move Photos to USB Stick

After selecting your desired photos, tap on the share button (the square with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom left corner of the screen.

A sharing menu will appear. Scroll through the options until you find your USB stick’s name and icon. Tap on it to transfer the selected photos.

Note:

If you don’t see your USB stick listed, double-check that it is properly connected to your iPhone. You may need to disconnect and reconnect it.

Step 7: Wait for Transfer Completion

Finally, wait for the transfer process to complete. The time taken will depend on the number and size of photos being transferred.

Note:

Do not disconnect your USB stick during this process as it may result in data loss or corruption.

Congratulations!

You have successfully transferred your precious photos from your iPhone to a USB stick without using a computer. Now, you can free up space on your device while keeping all your memories safe and secure!
