In today’s digital age, taking pictures has become an integral part of our lives. Whether it’s capturing precious moments with loved ones or documenting beautiful landscapes, our smartphones have made it incredibly convenient to snap a photo anywhere, anytime.

If you’re an iPhone user, you’ll be pleased to know that the built-in camera app offers a feature that allows you to take multiple pictures in quick succession. In this tutorial, we’ll guide you on how to take multiple pictures on your iPhone.

Step 1: Open the Camera App

To begin, locate the Camera app on your iPhone’s home screen and tap on it to open it. The Camera app icon is usually a small camera outline and can be found alongside other apps.

Step 2: Set the Camera Mode

Once the Camera app is open, you’ll notice various modes at the bottom of the screen. Swipe left or right until you reach the desired mode for taking multiple pictures. The available modes include Photo, Video, Time-Lapse, Slo-Mo, Portrait, and more.

  • The Photo Mode: This is the default mode for taking still photos.
  • The Burst Mode: This is the mode we’ll be using to capture multiple photos rapidly.

Step 3: Enter Burst Mode

To enter Burst mode and start taking multiple pictures in rapid succession:

  1. Aim your iPhone at the subject you want to capture.

  2. Press and hold down the shutter button located at the bottom center of your screen or side button (on older iPhone models).

When in Burst mode, the shutter button will display a counter indicating the number of pictures taken so far.

Step 4: Review and Select Your Best Shots

Once you’ve finished capturing your burst of photos, it’s time to review and select the best shots:

  1. Open the Photos app on your iPhone.

  2. Navigate to the album titled “Bursts”.

  3. Tap on the burst of photos you just took.

  4. Scroll through the images and tap on each one that you want to keep.

  5. Tap on “Done” when you’re finished selecting your best shots.

Step 5: Save or Delete Unwanted Photos

If you have any unwanted photos from the burst that you’ve decided not to keep, follow these steps to delete them:

  1. Open the burst of photos in the Photos app as described in Step 4.

  2. Tap on “Select” located at the top right corner of your screen.

  3. Select all the photos you wish to delete by tapping on each one.

  4. Finally, tap on the trash icon at the bottom right corner and confirm by selecting “Delete Photo”.

And there you have it! You now know how to take multiple pictures on your iPhone using the built-in camera app.

Burst mode is an excellent feature for capturing action shots, group photos, or any moment that requires multiple shots to ensure you don’t miss a perfect shot. Happy snapping!
