Step 1: Open System Preferences

If no apps are listed or if you want to specifically allow an app to record your screen, follow these additional steps:

a) Click on the ‘+’ button

In the bottom left corner of the window, click on the ‘+’ button.

b) Select an App

A list of applications will appear. Choose an app that you want to grant screen recording permissions to and click on “Open.”

c) Enable Screen Recording

Make sure the selected app is checked in the list to enable screen recording for it.

Step 6: Lock Settings and Exit

Finally, close the Security & Privacy window by clicking on the padlock icon once again. Your changes will be saved automatically.
