Step 1: Open FaceTime on your Mac

To begin, launch the FaceTime app on your Mac from the Applications folder or by searching for it using Spotlight.

Step 2: Access Preferences

Once the FaceTime app is open, click on FaceTime in the menu bar at the top of the screen. Then select Preferences from the drop-down menu.

Step 3: Disable Incoming Calls

In the Preferences window, navigate to the Calls tab. Here, you will find options for managing incoming calls.

A. Block Specific Contacts

If you want to block specific contacts from calling you on FaceTime, click on the Add Person (+) button under the Blocked tab.

A search box will appear where you can enter the name or email address of the contact you wish to block. Select their name from the search results and click Add.

B. Turn Off Incoming Calls Completely

If you want to stop all incoming FaceTime calls completely, deselect the checkbox next to Ring on this Mac. This will prevent any incoming calls from ringing or appearing on your screen.

Step 4: Confirm Changes and Close Preferences

After making your desired changes to manage incoming calls, simply close the Preferences window by clicking on the red ‘X’ button at the top left corner or by pressing Command + W.

That’s it! You have successfully stopped FaceTime calls on your Mac. You can always revisit these settings in the FaceTime Preferences if you wish to make any changes in the future.
