Using the Grab Tool

  1. Open the Applications folder.

  3. Select Grab.

  5. If you selected Capture Selection, click and drag around the desired area.
  6. If you selected Capture Window/i>, click on the window you want to capture.
  7. If you selected Capture Screen/i>, click anywhere on the screen.
  8. A new window will open with your captured snip.

Using Keyboard Shortcuts

If you prefer using keyboard shortcuts, Mac offers a few options:

  • Command + Shift + 3: Captures the entire screen.
