In this tutorial, we will learn how to set the lock screen on your iPhone. The lock screen is the first thing you see when you wake up your iPhone, and it provides quick access to key features and notifications. Let’s get started!

Step 1: Open the Settings App

To begin, unlock your iPhone and locate the Settings app on your home screen. It has a grey icon with gears.

Step 2: Find Display & Brightness

Once you have opened the Settings app, scroll down and tap on “Display & Brightness.” It should be located near the top of the list.

Step 3: Choose a Wallpaper

In the “Display & Brightness” menu, tap on “Wallpaper.” Here, you can choose from Apple’s pre-installed wallpapers or select an image from your photo library by tapping on “Choose a New Wallpaper.”

Bold Text:

If you want to use bold text for your lock screen wallpaper, tap on “Dynamic” or “Stills,” then select an image. After selecting an image, tap on “Set,” and choose either “Set Lock Screen” or “Set Both” to set it as your lock screen wallpaper.

Underline Text:

If you want to underline text for your lock screen wallpaper, follow the same steps mentioned above but instead of selecting an image directly, choose “Photos.” This will allow you to browse through your photo library and select an image that contains underlined text.

Once you’ve chosen an image with underlined text, tap on “Set” and select either “Set Lock Screen” or “Set Both. “

Step 4: Adjust the Wallpaper

After selecting your desired image, you can adjust it to fit your lock screen by pinching and zooming or dragging it. Make sure the image is aligned correctly and tap on “Set” in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Step 5: Set Lock Screen

Finally, choose whether you want to set the image as your lock screen only or both your lock screen and home screen. Tap on the appropriate option, and your new lock screen wallpaper will be applied immediately.

Setting a lock screen wallpaper on your iPhone is a simple yet effective way to personalize your device. By following these steps, you can easily choose a wallpaper that reflects your style and preferences. Experiment with different images and styles to find the perfect lock screen look for you!
