How to Screen Record on iPhone With Sound

Step 1: Enable Screen Recording

To start screen recording on your iPhone, you need to enable the screen recording feature in the Control Center.

  • Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  • Scroll down and tap on Control Center.
  • Tap on Customize Controls.
  • Find the Screen Recording option and tap on the green plus (+) icon next to it to add it to your Control Center.

Step 2: Access the Control Center

Once you have added Screen Recording to your Control Center, you can easily access it by following these steps:

  • Swipe down from the top-right corner of your iPhone (or swipe up if you have an older model or have enabled AssistiveTouch).
  • You will see various icons and controls in the Control Center. Look for the circular record button with a white dot inside.

Step 3: Start Screen Recording with Sound

To start screen recording with sound, simply follow these instructions:

  • Tap once on the record button in the Control Center.
  • A countdown of three seconds will appear, indicating that your screen recording is about to start. You can close the Control Center and navigate to the app or screen you want to record during this countdown.
  • A red bar will appear at the top of your screen, indicating that the screen recording is in progress.
  • To capture sound along with your screen recording, press and hold the record button in the Control Center.
  • Tap on Microphone Audio to enable sound recording. The icon will turn red when it is activated.

Step 4: Stop and Save Your Recording

Once you have finished recording your iPhone screen, you can stop and save the recording by following these steps:

  • To stop the recording, tap on the red bar at the top of your screen or open the Control Center and tap on the record button again.
  • A confirmation message will appear, asking if you want to stop or continue recording. Tap on Stop.
  • Your screen recording will be saved automatically in your Photos app.

Note:

If you want to access your recorded videos quickly, you can create a shortcut by going to Settings > Control Center > Customize Controls. From there, add Screen Recording to your “Include” list in Control Center. This way, you can access it directly from the Control Center without going into Settings each time.
