  • Customize Controls: Tap on “Customize Controls” to modify the Control Center settings.
  • Screen Recording: Look for “Screen Recording” in the list of available controls and tap the green plus icon next to it. This will add it to your Control Center.

Step 2: Access Control Center

Now that you have added “Screen Recording” to your Control Center, follow these steps:

  • Unlock your iPhone: If your phone is locked, unlock it using Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode.
  • iOS 14 or earlier: Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to access Control Center.

Tips:

  • Microphone Audio: By default, screen recording captures audio from your device’s microphone. If you want to record external audio, such as speaker output or connected headphones, long-press or firmly press on the Screen Recording button in Control Center and toggle on/off “Microphone Audio”.
  • Banner Dismissal: The red recording banner at the top of your screen will disappear automatically after a few seconds. However, if you wish to hide it immediately, go to Control Center and tap on the “Screen Recording” button again.

With this newfound knowledge, you can now record your iPhone 13 screen effortlessly. Happy recording!
