Are you tired of having to tilt your head to view photos on your Android device? Well, fret no more! In this tutorial, we will guide you through the process of rotating photos on your Android device, so that you can enjoy them in the correct orientation.

Step 1: Open the Gallery App

Firstly, you need to open the Gallery app on your Android device. This app allows you to access and manage all the photos and videos stored on your device.

Step 2: Select the Photo You Want to Rotate

Once you have opened the Gallery app, browse through your photo albums and select the photo that you want to rotate. Simply tap on it to open it in full screen mode.

Note:

  • If you have multiple photos that need rotation, you can repeat these steps for each photo individually.
  • If you want to rotate a video instead of a photo, please note that the steps may vary slightly depending on your device and version of Android.

Step 3: Access Photo Editing Options

To rotate the photo, tap on the editing options icon. This icon is usually represented by a pencil or a slider and is located at the bottom or top of your screen.

Step 4: Rotate the Photo

Once you have accessed the editing options, look for a rotate icon or button. It is often represented by a circular arrow. Tap on this icon once or twice until your photo is rotated to your desired orientation.

Note:

  • The number of times you need to tap on the rotate icon depends on how much you want to rotate the photo. Each tap usually rotates the photo by 90 degrees.

Step 5: Save the Rotated Photo

After you have rotated the photo to your liking, don’t forget to save your changes. Look for a save or apply button and tap on it to save the rotated photo.

Note:

  • If you accidentally rotate the photo too much or in the wrong direction, don’t worry! Just tap on the rotate icon again until it is back in its original orientation.

And there you have it! You have successfully rotated a photo on your Android device. Now you can view and share your photos without any neck strain!

Remember: The steps mentioned above may vary slightly depending on your device’s manufacturer and version of Android. However, the general process remains the same across most Android devices.

So go ahead and give it a try! Explore your Gallery app, find those misaligned photos, and rotate them to perfection. Happy rotating!
