Step 1: Open the Video

The first thing you need to do is open the video player on your iPhone. This can be done by either opening the video in a supported app or by going to the Photos app and selecting the video from your library.

Step 2: Play the Video

Once you have the video open, tap on the play button to start playing it. The play button is usually located at the bottom center of the screen.

Step 3: Pause the Video

To pause the video while it’s playing, simply tap anywhere on the screen. This will bring up several controls, including a pause button. Tap on this pause button to immediately pause the video.

Note: If you don’t see any controls when tapping on the screen, wait for a couple of seconds and they should appear.

Step 4: Resume Playing

If you want to resume playing the video after pausing it, all you need to do is tap on the play button again. This will continue playing from where you left off.

  • Swipe left or right: While watching a paused video, swipe left or right on the screen to scrub through different parts of the video without actually playing it.
  • Adjust volume: To adjust the volume while watching a paused video, use the volume buttons located on one side of your iPhone.

That’s it! Now you know how to pause a video on your iPhone.

It’s a simple process that can be done with just a tap on the screen. Whether you need to quickly pause a video to attend to something or want to take a break, pausing videos on your iPhone is easy and convenient.
