How to Paste Picture on Picture iPhone

If you’re looking to add an extra touch of creativity to your iPhone photos, pasting pictures on pictures can be a fun and unique way to do it. Whether you want to create a collage or overlay one image onto another, the process is simple and can be done directly on your iPhone.

In this tutorial, we’ll guide you through the steps of how to paste a picture on picture using your iPhone’s built-in editing tools.

Step 1: Open the Photos App

To get started, locate and open the Photos app on your iPhone. This app comes pre-installed and should be easily accessible from your home screen.

Step 2: Select the Base Image

Once you have opened the Photos app, navigate to the album or folder containing the image that you want as your base image. Tap on it to open it in full screen.

It’s important to choose a base image that provides enough space for the second picture or overlay without compromising its visibility or clarity.

Step 3: Access Editing Tools

With the base image selected, tap on the Edit button located at the top-right corner of your screen. This will open up various editing options for your image.

Step 4: Add Second Picture or Overlay

In the editing interface, locate and tap on the three-dot icon (•••). This will open a menu with additional editing options. From this menu, select Paste Over.

A new screen will appear, prompting you to choose the second image or overlay from your photo library. Tap on the desired image to select it.

Ensure that the second picture or overlay has a transparent background or is appropriately edited to blend seamlessly with the base image.

Step 5: Adjust and Position

Once you have selected the second picture, it will appear as an overlay on top of your base image. You can use gestures like pinch-to-zoom and drag to adjust the size and position of the overlay.

Step 6: Finalize and Save

When you are satisfied with how the pictures are aligned, tap on Done at the bottom-right corner of your screen. This will save your edited image with the pasted picture-on-picture effect.

It’s always a good idea to create a duplicate copy of your original base image before making any edits, so you can revert back if needed.

That’s it! You have successfully pasted a picture on picture using your iPhone’s built-in editing tools.

Feel free to experiment with different images and overlays to unleash your creativity and add more visual interest to your photos!
