Step 1: Tap and Hold an App

To begin, find an app that you would like to include in a folder. Tap and hold the app icon until all the icons on the screen start to wiggle.

Step 2: Drag the App onto Another App

Once the icons are wiggling, drag the app you selected onto another app that you want to include in the same folder. When you do this, a folder will automatically be created with both apps inside.

Step 3: Customize the Folder Name

To customize the folder name, tap on the folder and then tap on the text field below the apps. You can now enter a name for your folder using the keyboard that appears on screen. Once you have entered the desired name, tap outside of the text field to save it.

Tips:

  • You can add more apps to a folder by tapping and holding an app icon and then dragging it into an existing folder.
  • If you want to remove an app from a folder, simply open the folder and tap and hold on an app icon. Then drag it outside of the folder onto any area of your home screen.
