If you’ve ever found yourself in a situation where you wanted to make calls go straight to voicemail on your iPhone, you’re in luck.   • If you want to change the number to which calls are forwarded, tap on Forward To and enter the desired phone number.

To ensure that your calls are going straight to voicemail, ask a friend or family member to call you. Your iPhone should not ring, and the call should go directly to your voicemail.

Customizing Voicemail Greeting

If you want to customize your voicemail greeting, you can do so by following these steps:

Step 1: Open the Phone App

Open the Phone app on your iPhone.

Step 2: Access the Voicemail Settings

Tap on the Voicemail tab at the bottom right corner of the screen.

Step 3: Customize Greeting

In this step, tap on Greeting. You will be presented with different options for customizing your voicemail greeting.

  • Voice Message: This option allows you to record a custom voice message as your voicemail greeting. Simply tap on it and follow the instructions to record your greeting.
  • Delete: If you want to delete your current custom greeting and revert back to the default system greeting, tap on this option.
  • Preset Greetings: You can choose from a range of preset greetings provided by Apple. Tap on any of these options to select it as your voicemail greeting.

Note:

If you change your voicemail greeting, make sure to save the changes before exiting the settings.
