To begin, unlock your Android device and locate the Settings app. It is usually represented by a gear icon.

Step 2: Find and Tap on “Digital Wellbeing & Parental Controls”

Once you have opened the Settings, scroll down until you find the option called “Digital Wellbeing & Parental Controls”. Tap on it to proceed.

Note:

If you cannot find this option, it may vary depending on your device’s manufacturer or Android version. In such cases, look for similar terms like “Screen Time,” “Usage Statistics,” or “Battery Usage.”

Step 3: Explore Your Screen Time Data

After tapping on “Digital Wellbeing & Parental Controls”, you will be presented with an overview of your screen time data. Here, you can see how much time you spend on different apps and activities.

Note:

If this is your first time accessing Digital Wellbeing, it may take a few moments for the data to populate. Please be patient.

Step 4: View App-Specific Usage

To get more detailed information about your app usage, tap on the specific app from the list provided. This will show you how much time you spend using that particular app throughout the day.

Note:

If you do not see a particular app in the list, it means that you have not used that app during the specified time period.

Step 5: Set App Limits

If you find that you are spending too much time on certain apps, you can set app limits to help manage your screen time. To do this, go back to the main Digital Wellbeing screen and tap on “Dashboard.” From there, select the specific app and set a daily time limit.

Step 6: Use Wind Down Mode

Android also offers a feature called “Wind Down Mode,” which helps you establish a bedtime routine by gradually reducing your device’s brightness and enabling grayscale. To access this feature, go back to the main Digital Wellbeing screen and tap on “Bedtime Mode.”
