Exodus is a popular choice among Kodi users, offering a vast library of movies and TV shows for streaming. In this tutorial, we will walk you through the step-by-step process of installing Exodus on Kodi on Android.

Prerequisites

Before we begin, make sure you have the following:

  • An Android device with Kodi installed
  • A stable internet connection
  • Allowing installation from unknown sources enabled on your Android device

Step 1: Launch Kodi

To get started, open the Kodi app on your Android device. You can typically find it in your app drawer or home screen.

Step 2: Access Settings

In the main menu of Kodi, navigate to the gear icon in the top-left corner and click on it. This will open the Settings menu.

Step 3: Open System Settings

In the Settings menu, scroll down and select “System”. This will open a new set of options related to system settings.

Step 4: Enable Unknown Sources

In the System settings, scroll down and locate “Add-ons” in the left sidebar. Click on it to access additional add-on settings.

Once inside “Add-ons”, toggle the switch next to “Unknown sources” to enable installation from unknown sources. A warning message may appear; simply confirm by clicking “Yes”. This step is necessary to install Exodus since it is not an official Kodi add-on.

Step 5: Go Back to Settings Menu

After enabling unknown sources, use the back button on your Android device to return to the Settings menu.

Step 6: Access File Manager

In the Settings menu, locate and click on “File manager”. This option allows you to manage files and folders within Kodi.

Step 7: Add Source

In the File manager, double-click on “Add source” to add a new file source for Exodus.

Step 8: Enter Source URL

A window will pop up asking you to enter the path or browse for the media location. Click inside the text box labeled “Enter the paths or browse for the media locations” and type in the following URL exactly as shown:

https://i-a-c.github.io

Once you’ve entered the URL, click “OK”.

Step 9: Name Your Source

In the next window, you will be prompted to name your source. Click inside the text box labeled “Enter a name for this media source” and type in a name that will help you identify it later.

For example, you can use “Exodus Repo”. Once you’ve entered a name, click “OK”.

Step 10: Go Back to Kodi Home Screen

After naming your source, use the back button on your Android device multiple times until you return to the Kodi home screen.

Step 11: Open Add-ons Browser

In the Kodi home screen, navigate to “Add-ons” in the left sidebar and click on it. This will open the add-ons browser.

Step 12: Access Package Installer

In the add-ons browser, click on the open box icon in the top-left corner. This is the package installer.

Step 13: Install from Zip File

In the package installer menu, select “Install from zip file”. This option allows you to install add-ons from a zip file stored on your device.

Step 14: Select Source

A new window will appear with a list of sources. Scroll down and find the source you added earlier (in our example, “Exodus Repo”). Click on it to access its contents.

Step 15: Choose Repository Zip File

Inside your selected source, you will find a list of zip files. Look for a file named something similar to “repository.exodusredux-x.x.zip” and click on it. The x.x represents the version number, which may vary depending on when you are installing Exodus.

Step 16: Wait for Add-on Installed Notification

Kodi will now install the Exodus repository from the zip file. Wait for a notification to appear in the top-right corner confirming that “Exodus Redux Repo Add-on installed”. This indicates that the installation was successful.

Step 17: Install from Repository

After installation, click on “Install from repository” in the same package installer menu where you previously clicked “Install from zip file”.

Step 18: Open Exodus Redux Repo

In this step, locate and click on “Exodus Redux Repo” within the list of available repositories. This will open up a new set of options specific to Exodus Redux.

Step 19: Access Video Add-ons

Inside Exodus Redux Repo, click on “Video add-ons”. This will display a list of video add-ons available for installation.

Step 20: Install Exodus

Scroll down until you find “Exodus” in the list of video add-ons. Click on it to access the add-on information page.

On the information page, click the “Install” button to begin the installation process. Kodi will now download and install Exodus on your Android device.

Step 21: Wait for Add-on Installed Notification

After a few moments, a notification will appear in the top-right corner confirming that “Exodus Add-on installed”. This means that you have successfully installed Exodus on Kodi on Android!

In Conclusion

Congratulations! You have successfully installed Exodus on Kodi on your Android device.

Now you can enjoy a vast collection of movies and TV shows at your fingertips. Happy streaming!
