How to Import iPhone Photos to Mac

Step 1: Connect Your iPhone to Your Mac

First, grab your lightning cable and connect your iPhone to your Mac using the USB port. Ensure that both devices are turned on and unlocked.

Step 2: Trust Your Computer

After connecting your iPhone, a popup window may appear on your iPhone screen asking you whether you trust this computer. Tap “Trust” to proceed with the connection.

The import process may take a while depending on the number of photos and videos you selected. You can monitor the progress in the upper-left corner of the Photos app. Do not disconnect your iPhone until the import is complete.

Step 8: Review Imported Photos

Once the import is finished, you can find your imported photos in either “Last Import” or “All Photos” under “Library” in the sidebar. They will also be available in their respective albums if you have organized them on your iPhone.
