How to Get Google Contacts on iPhone

Are you tired of manually adding all your Google contacts to your iPhone? Well, fret not!

In this tutorial, we will guide you through the process of syncing your Google contacts with your iPhone. By following these simple steps, you can easily access all your important contacts right from your iPhone’s native Contacts app.

Step 1: Install the Google Contacts App

The first step is to install the Google Contacts app from the App Store. Open the App Store on your iPhone and search for “Google Contacts”. Tap on the “Get” button next to the app and wait for it to download and install on your device.

Step 2: Sign in with Your Google Account

Once the installation is complete, open the Google Contacts app. You will be prompted to sign in with your Google account. Enter your email address and password associated with your Google account and tap on the “Sign in” button.

Step 3: Grant Access to Your Contacts

In order for the Google Contacts app to sync with your iPhone’s native Contacts app, you need to grant access to your contacts. Tap on the “Allow” button when prompted to give permission for the app to access your contacts.

Step 4: Enable Contact Syncing

To enable contact syncing between Google Contacts and your iPhone, go to Settings on your iPhone. Scroll down and tap on “Contacts”.

Under the “Accounts” section, tap on “Add Account”. Select “Google” from the list of available account types.

Note: If you already have a Gmail account added to your iPhone, skip this step as contact syncing is already enabled by default.

Step 5: Enter Your Google Account Details

In the Sign In screen, enter your Google account details including your email address and password. Tap on the “Next” button. Make sure the “Contacts” option is toggled on, then tap on “Save” to complete the setup process.

Step 6: Sync Your Contacts

Now that you have added your Google account to your iPhone, it’s time to sync your contacts. Open the Settings app and tap on “Contacts”.

Under the “Accounts” section, tap on your Google account. Toggle on the “Contacts” option if it’s not already enabled.

You can also adjust other settings like syncing frequency and whether to keep contacts on your iPhone or delete them when removed from Google Contacts. Once you’re satisfied with your preferences, exit the Settings app.

You have successfully synced your Google contacts with your iPhone! Now, open the native Contacts app on your iPhone and you should see all your Google contacts listed there. Any changes made to your contacts in either app will be automatically synced between them.

In this tutorial, we learned how to get Google Contacts on an iPhone by installing the Google Contacts app, signing in with our Google account, granting access to contacts, enabling contact syncing in Settings, entering our Google account details, and finally syncing our contacts.
