Have you ever accidentally deleted precious photos from your iPhone? Don’t worry, there is a way to retrieve those deleted photos and bring back those cherished memories. In this tutorial, we will guide you through the process of getting back deleted photos on your iPhone.

1. Check Recently Deleted Album

One of the first places to check for your deleted photos is the “Recently Deleted” album on your iPhone. This album contains all the photos that you have recently deleted and are still recoverable.

To access the “Recently Deleted” album:

  1. Open the Photos app on your iPhone.
  2. Navigate to the Albums tab at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Scroll down and tap on Recently Deleted.
  4. You will see a list of all recently deleted photos. Tap on the photo you want to recover.
  5. Select Recover at the bottom-right corner of the screen.

2. Use iCloud Photo Library

If you have enabled iCloud Photo Library on your iPhone, there is a good chance that your deleted photos are still backed up in iCloud. Follow these steps to retrieve them:

  1. Navigate to Settings.
  2. Tap on your name at the top of the screen.
  3. Select iCloud > Photos.
  4. Ensure that iCloud Photos is turned on.
  5. If it’s already enabled, go back to Settings and disable it, then re-enable it again. This will trigger a sync with iCloud.
  6. Wait for a while as your photos are being synced back to your iPhone.

3. Use a Third-Party Data Recovery Tool

If the above methods didn’t work or you haven’t backed up your photos, you can try using third-party data recovery tools to retrieve your deleted photos. These tools scan your iPhone’s storage and attempt to recover deleted files.

There are several reputable data recovery tools available, such as Dr.Fone, iMobie PhoneRescue, and Enigma Recovery. You can download and install one of these tools on your computer, connect your iPhone, and follow the on-screen instructions to recover your deleted photos.

4. Restore from iTunes Backup

If you regularly back up your iPhone using iTunes, you can restore your device from a previous backup to retrieve the deleted photos. Here’s how:

  1. Connect your iPhone to the computer where you have the latest iTunes backup.
  2. Launch iTunes and select your device when it appears in iTunes.
  3. In the Summary tab, click on Restore Backup.
  4. Select the most recent backup that contains your deleted photos.
  5. Click on Restore and wait for the process to complete.

Note:

Restoring from an iTunes backup will replace all data on your device with the data from the backup. Make sure to create a current backup before proceeding with this method.

In conclusion, losing precious photos can be disheartening, but don’t panic. By checking the “Recently Deleted” album, utilizing iCloud Photo Library, using third-party data recovery tools, or restoring from an iTunes backup, you have a good chance of recovering those deleted photos and preserving your cherished memories. Good luck!
