Have you ever received an important email on your Android device and wished you could easily forward it to someone else? Well, you’re in luck! In this tutorial, we’ll guide you through the simple steps of forwarding an email on Android.

Step 1: Open your Email App

The first thing you need to do is open your email app. This may vary depending on the email client you are using.

Common email clients for Android include Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo Mail. Locate the app icon on your home screen or app drawer and tap on it to open.

Step 2: Select the Email to Forward

Once you have opened your email app, navigate to the inbox or folder where the email you want to forward is located. Scroll through your emails until you find the one you want to forward and tap on it to open.

Tip:

If you have a large number of emails in your inbox, use the search bar at the top of the screen to quickly find the specific email by entering relevant keywords or sender’s name.

Step 3: Tap on the Forward Button

After opening the desired email, look for a set of icons or buttons at the top or bottom of the screen. Locate and tap on the “Forward” button. It is usually represented by an arrow pointing right or an envelope with an arrow coming out of it.

Step 4: Enter Recipient’s Email Address

A new window will appear where you can enter the recipient’s email address. Tap inside the field labeled “To” or “Recipient” and start typing their email address. If you are forwarding multiple emails, separate each recipient’s address with a comma.

Tip:

If the recipient’s email is saved in your contacts, you can tap on the “+” or “Add Contact” button to select their email address from your contact list.

Step 5: Add a Subject (Optional)

Beneath the recipient’s email address field, you will find a field labeled “Subject”. This field allows you to add a brief description or title for your forwarded email. It is optional, but including a subject can help the recipient understand the content of the email.

Step 6: Customize Your Message (Optional)

Below the subject field, you will see a large text box where you can type a custom message if desired. This message will be included along with the original email when it is forwarded. You can use this opportunity to provide additional context or instructions to the recipient.

Tip:

If you don’t want to include a custom message, you can skip this step and move on to forwarding the email directly.

Step 7: Tap on Send

Once you have entered all the necessary information, review everything to ensure accuracy. Double-check the recipient’s email address, subject, and any custom message you may have added.

When you are satisfied with your changes, locate and tap on the “Send” button. It is usually represented by an arrow pointing up or an envelope with an arrow pointing up.

Congratulations! You have successfully forwarded an email on Android. The forwarded email will now be sent to the specified recipient(s) along with any added subject or custom message.

  • Tips for Forwarding Emails on Android:
    • Double-check recipients: Before sending the forwarded email, ensure that you have entered the correct email addresses for all recipients.
    • Review subject and message: Take a moment to review the subject line and any custom message you have added to avoid any errors or confusion.
    • Consider attachments: If the original email contains attachments and you want to forward them as well, make sure they are included before sending.

With these simple steps, you can easily forward emails on your Android device. Whether it’s forwarding important information or sharing interesting content, forwarding emails can be a convenient way to communicate with others. Happy forwarding!
