How to Email Photos From iPhone

Are you struggling to figure out how to email photos from your iPhone? Look no further! In this tutorial, we will guide you through the step-by-step process of sending photos via email directly from your iPhone.

Step 1: Open the Mail App

To get started, locate and open the Mail app on your iPhone. The Mail app typically comes pre-installed on all iPhones and can be easily recognized by its envelope icon.

Step 2: Compose a New Email

Next, tap on the compose button, usually represented by a pencil and a piece of paper icon at the bottom right corner of the screen. This will open a new email window.

Step 3: Enter Recipient’s Email Address

In the “To” field, enter the email address of the person you want to send the photos to. You can also add multiple recipients by separating their email addresses with commas.

Step 4: Add Subject (Optional)

If you want to add a subject line to your email, tap on the subject field and type in a short description that summarizes your email content or mentions the attached photos.

Step 5: Insert Photos

To attach photos to your email, tap on the body of the email where you would normally type. This will bring up additional options including “Insert Photo or Video.” Tap on it.

  • If you want to attach only one photo:
    • Tap “Choose Photo” or “Photo Library” (the exact wording may vary depending on your iOS version).
    • Select the photo you want to attach from your camera roll or albums.
    • Tap “Choose” or “Done” to insert the photo into your email.
  • If you want to attach multiple photos:
    • Hold down the first photo until it becomes slightly larger and a checkmark appears.
    • While still holding the first photo, tap on additional photos to select them.
    • You can also swipe left or right with your finger to select multiple adjacent photos quickly.
    • Release your finger once you have selected all the desired photos.

Step 6: Review and Send

Before sending your email, take a moment to review it. Ensure that the attached photos are displayed correctly and that you have included all necessary information in the body and subject fields. Once everything looks good, tap on the send button (usually represented by an arrow pointing upwards).

Congratulations! You have successfully emailed photos from your iPhone. Now you can easily share cherished memories, important documents, or anything else captured through your phone’s camera with friends, family, or colleagues via email.
