In this tutorial, we’ll guide you through the steps to edit your Reading List on Mac.

Editing Your Reading List

To get started, follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Open Safari

If you’re not already in Safari, click on the Safari icon in your Dock or search for “Safari” using Spotlight.

Step 2: Access Your Reading List

In the Safari menu bar at the top of your screen, click on “View” and then select “Show Sidebar.” Alternatively, you can use the keyboard shortcut ⌘ + ⇧ + L. This will open up the sidebar on the left side of Safari.

In the sidebar, click on the glasses icon labeled “Reading List.” This will display all of your saved articles and webpages.

Step 3: Remove an Item from Your Reading List

If there’s an article that you’ve already read or no longer want to keep in your Reading List, follow these steps to remove it:

  • Bold text: Hover over the item in your Reading List until a small “X” appears next to it.
  • Bold text: Click on the “X” to remove the item from your list. The article will instantly disappear from your Reading List.

Step 4: Rearrange Items in Your Reading List

If you’d like to change the order of your saved webpages in the Reading List, follow these steps:

  • Underlined text: Click and hold on an item in your Reading List.
  • Underlined text: Drag the item up or down to the desired position.
  • Bold text: Release the mouse button to drop the item into its new spot.

Step 5: Mark an Item as Unread

If you accidentally marked an article as read or want to revisit a webpage, you can mark it as unread. Here’s how:

  • Bold text: Right-click on the item in your Reading List.
  • Bold text: In the contextual menu that appears, click “Mark Unread.”

Step 6: Clear Your Entire Reading List

If you want to start fresh and clear your entire Reading List, follow these steps:

  • Underlined text: Right-click on any item in your Reading List.
  • Underlined text: In the contextual menu, click “Clear All.”
