To begin, locate and tap on the Music app icon on your iPhone’s home screen. The app is represented by a white music note on a red background.

Step 2: Navigate to the Library

Once you have opened the Music app, tap on the Library tab located at the bottom of the screen. This will take you to your personal music library.

Step 3: Select Songs or Albums

In the Library section, you can choose whether you want to delete individual songs or entire albums from your iPhone. For this tutorial, we will focus on deleting songs.

Delete Individual Songs:

  1. Browse: Scroll through your song list or use the search bar at the top of the screen to find the specific song you want to delete.
  2. Select: Once you have found the song, swipe left on its title or tap on the three dots (..) located next to it. A menu will appear with various options.
  3. Delete Song: From the menu, select Delete from Library. Confirm your decision by tapping Delete Song.

Delete Entire Albums:

Step 4: Sync Your iPhone with iTunes (Optional)

If you have enabled automatic syncing with iTunes on your computer, deleting songs or albums from your iPhone’s library will also remove them from your computer’s iTunes library during the next sync. However, if you do not have automatic syncing enabled, you will need to manually sync your iPhone with iTunes to ensure the changes are reflected.

You have successfully learned how to delete music from your iPhone. Remember that deleted songs cannot be recovered unless you have a backup. Enjoy managing your music library and keeping it clutter-free!
