If you have a large number of photos on your iPhone, deleting them one by one can be time-consuming and tedious. Luckily, there is a way to delete multiple photos at once, saving you precious time and effort.
Step 1: Open the Photos App
To get started, locate and tap on the Photos app on your iPhone’s home screen.
Step 2: Select the Album
Once you’re inside the Photos app, navigate to the album from which you want to delete multiple photos. This could be your Camera Roll, Favorites, or any other custom album you’ve created.
Step 3: Tap Select
In the top-right corner of the screen, tap on the Select button. This will allow you to choose multiple photos for deletion.
Step 4: Choose Photos
You can now start selecting the photos you want to delete. Simply tap on each photo to select it. As you select a photo, it will be highlighted with a checkmark.
Tips:
- To select multiple consecutive photos, tap and hold on one photo until it enlarges slightly and then drag your finger across the screen to select more photos.
- To select multiple non-consecutive photos, tap on each photo individually to add or remove the checkmark.
Step 5: Delete Selected Photos
Once you have selected all the desired photos for deletion, look for the trash can icon at the bottom-right corner of your screen and tap on it. A confirmation pop-up will appear.
Step 6: Confirm Deletion
In the confirmation pop-up, you will be asked if you want to delete the selected photos. To proceed, tap on Delete [X] Photos, where [X] represents the number of photos you have selected.
That’s it! The selected photos have been successfully deleted from your iPhone.
Note:
Deleted photos are moved to the Recently Deleted album, where they will remain for 30 days before being permanently deleted. If you change your mind within this time frame, you can still recover them.
