If you find your iPhone cluttered with inactive subscriptions, it’s time to clean up and regain control over your finances. In this tutorial, we will guide you through the process of deleting inactive subscriptions on your iPhone.

Step 1: Open the Settings App

To begin, unlock your iPhone and locate the Settings app icon on your home screen. It resembles a gear wheel and can usually be found on the first page of apps.

Step 2: Access Your Apple ID Settings

Once you have opened the Settings app, scroll down until you find your name or Apple ID at the top of the screen. Tap on it to access your Apple ID settings.

Step 3: View Your Subscriptions

Within your Apple ID settings, locate and tap on Subscriptions. This will bring up a list of all active and inactive subscriptions associated with your Apple ID.

Step 4: Identify Inactive Subscriptions

In this list, you will see all active and inactive subscriptions. To identify inactive ones, look for entries that display Canceled or Expired. These are subscriptions that are no longer active but may still be taking up space on your device.

Note:

If you are unsure whether a subscription is truly inactive or still in use, it’s recommended to keep it until you can confirm its status with the respective service provider.

Step 5: Delete Inactive Subscriptions

To delete an inactive subscription, simply tap on it within the list. This will open a detailed view of the subscription.

  • If you see an option that says Cancel Subscription, tap on it to confirm the cancellation and remove the subscription from your device.
  • If you see an option that says Renew Subscription, it means the subscription has already expired and there is no need to take any further action.

Repeat this process for all inactive subscriptions you wish to delete from your device.

Step 6: Confirm Deletion (Optional)

To ensure that the subscription has been successfully deleted, return to the main list of subscriptions within your Apple ID settings. If the inactive subscription no longer appears, it has been successfully removed from your device.

Note:

If you have deleted a subscription but are still being charged, it’s recommended to reach out to the service provider directly for further assistance.

Congratulations! You have successfully deleted inactive subscriptions on your iPhone. By regularly managing your subscriptions, you can keep your device clutter-free and avoid unnecessary charges.

Remember, only delete subscriptions that you are certain are no longer in use. If in doubt, contact the service provider for confirmation before removing any subscriptions from your device.
