- Delete and Exit:
Tapping on “Delete and Exit” will remove you from the group chat and delete all messages and media related to the group chat from your iPhone.
- Delete Only:
Tapping on “Delete Only” will remove all messages and media related to the group chat from your iPhone, but you will still remain a participant in the group chat.
Step 5: Confirm Deletion
After selecting the desired deletion option, a confirmation message will appear. Tap on “Delete Conversation” again to confirm.
Step 6: Group Chat Deleted!
Once you have confirmed the deletion, the group chat will be deleted from your iPhone. You will no longer see it in your list of conversations.
Tips:
- If you accidentally delete a group chat, there is no way to recover it. Make sure to double-check before confirming the deletion.
- If other participants are still part of the group chat after you have left, they will still be able to see and send messages in it.
