To delete all emails at once on your iPhone, you can follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Open the Mail App

If you haven’t done so already, locate and tap on the Mail app icon on your iPhone’s home screen. This will open the Mail app and display your inbox.

Step 2: Select All Emails

Once you’re in the Mail app, navigate to your inbox or any other mailbox that contains the emails you want to delete. Next, tap on the “Edit” button located at the top-right corner of the screen. This will enable you to select multiple emails at once.

Note: If you want to delete all emails within a specific mailbox, make sure you are within that mailbox before proceeding.

Selecting All Emails

To select all emails in your mailbox, tap on the circular checkbox located at the top-left corner of the screen. This checkbox represents selecting all emails currently visible in your mailbox.

Note: If you have multiple pages of emails and want to select all of them, scroll down to load more emails and repeat this step until all emails are selected.

Selecting Multiple Emails

If you only want to delete specific emails rather than all of them, you can individually select each email by tapping on its corresponding circular checkbox. As you tap on each checkbox, it will turn blue to indicate selection.

Step 3: Delete Selected Emails

After selecting the desired emails for deletion, tap on the trash bin icon located at the bottom-right corner of the screen. A confirmation prompt will appear asking if you want to move these messages to Trash.

Delete Confirmation

Option 1: To proceed with deletion, tap on the “Trash” option.

Option 2: If you change your mind and don’t want to delete the selected emails, tap on the “Cancel” option to exit the deletion process.

Step 4: Empty Trash Folder (Optional)

If you want to permanently delete the emails you moved to the Trash folder, follow these additional steps:

Navigating to Trash

To access your Trash folder, tap on the “Mailboxes” button located at the top-left corner of the screen. This will take you back to the main Mailboxes screen.

Scroll down and locate the “Trash” folder under the “Accounts” section. Tap on it to open and view its contents.

Emptying Trash

To permanently delete all emails in your Trash folder, tap on the “Edit” button at the top-right corner of the screen. This will enable you to select multiple emails for deletion.

Tapping on “Select All” will highlight all emails in your Trash folder. Then, tap on the trash bin icon once again and confirm by tapping on “Delete All”.

Congratulations!
