Step 1: Open the Photos App

To begin, locate and tap on the Photos app on your iPhone’s home screen. The icon resembles a multicolored pinwheel. Once you have found it, tap to open the app.

Step 2: Navigate to Albums

Once you are in the Photos app, navigate to the Albums tab located at the bottom of your screen. Tap on it to view all your photo albums.

Step 3: Select the Album You Want to Delete

Step 4: Tap on “Select” and Choose Photos

Select multiple photos:

1. Tap on each photo you wish to delete; selected photos will have a blue checkmark icon.
2. If there are multiple pages within an album, swipe left or right to navigate through each page and select photos as needed.

Select all photos:

• If you want to delete all photos within the album, tap on the first photo and then swipe your finger to the right while maintaining contact with the screen until all photos are selected. Alternatively, you can tap on Select All at the top-left corner of your screen.

Step 5: Tap on the Trash Can Icon

Once you have selected the desired photos for deletion, tap on the Trash Can icon located at the bottom-right corner of your screen.

Step 6: Confirm Deletion

A confirmation window will appear asking if you want to delete the selected photos or album. To proceed, tap on Delete [X] Photos/Album. Please note that this action cannot be undone, so ensure that you have selected the correct items for deletion.

Step 7: Check for Deletion

To verify that your album has been deleted successfully, go back to your Albums view and check if it is no longer visible. If it has disappeared from your albums list, congratulations! You have successfully deleted a photo album from your iPhone.

Note: Deleting an album does not delete any photos permanently from your device; it only removes them from the specific album. The original photo will still be available in your All Photos or other relevant albums.
