After blocking a number, you can confirm its blocked status by going back to the details page for that call. The “Block this Caller” option should now be replaced with “Unblock this Caller”.
This indicates that the number has been successfully blocked.
Managing Blocked Contacts:
If you ever want to unblock a number or manage your blocked contacts, you can do so by following these steps:
- To unblock a number:
- Open the Phone app and go to the “Recents” tab.
- Find any call from the blocked contact and tap on the “i” icon next to it.
- Scroll down and select “Unblock this Caller”.
- To manage your blocked contacts:
- Open your iPhone’s Settings app from your home screen.
- Scroll down and tap on “Phone”.
- Select “Blocked Contacts”.
- You will now see a list of all your blocked contacts. From here, you can add or remove specific numbers.
- All calls from your blocked contacts will still be silenced and sent directly to voicemail.
- The Do Not Disturb mode can be accessed through Settings > Do Not Disturb.
